This is my overdue vacation. OL really needs a break from work, clear her mind, and recharge. I wasn't looking for adventures type of vacations, or the type packed with many activities. All I want to do is DO NOTHING - stay in the nice resort by the beach, enjoy good food, spa treatment, hang by the pool with my book and cute cabana boys serve me cocktail with little umbrella on it.
With a strong recommendation from my co-worker, I packed my bag and headed to Cabo San Lcuas for my 5 days vacation with my long time college pal.
Before heading to Cabo, many friends and relatives were warning me......
"It's not safe for two single girls to travel in Mexico"
"Mexico is dirty, be careful with drinks there - you will get sick"
"Make sure you bring plenty of 臭藥丸"
I guess in some Californian's mind (even myself prior to the trip), when they think about Mexico - they have images of areas around Tijuana by CA & Mexico border - dirty and unsafe.....
Well, Cabo is way very different. Many luxury resorts by Pacific Ocean, Real Estate is really booming there. It's kind of like Palm Spring five years ago, and many Americans start to purchase vacation house in Cabo.
Arrival at CABO airport
I was impressed by how clean and organized the airport is.
Going through custom was fairly easy and quick. The only bad part was trying to get out of the airport to our pre-arranged shuttle pick-up. There were dozen of time-shares agents trying to sell you time share..... They would pretend to be airport agents, ask you question, and then start do their 20 minutes pitch. Don't get fool by them.... If you ever visit Cabo, once you are out of custom check-point, you can ignore all those guys and walk straight out of the airport.
Our hotel shuttle pick up (Grey Line) was waiting for outside of the terminal. HEADING to our destination, Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Resort!!!
