I stopped by Cosco to pick up some items for Mom today. I need to admit that I have a bad habit...Everyday after work, I don't like to go straight home. Instead I like to walking around or shopping - I guess this is part of my distress process from hard day at work.
Dad reminded me last weekend to pick up some margarita mix for him. It's been hot in S. CA these days...hmmm.... a glass margarita - not a bad idea. I remember seeing the commerical on TV the other day on this new ready to serve Margarita mix called "Jose Cuervo Golden Margarita" - I decided to give it a try.
$15 for 1.75 L bottle. The bottle is nice, not those cheap 2 for $8 margarita bottle. I typically not a big fan of the ready to serve margarita, it's tasted like medicine. Jose Cuervo is made with Cuervo Gold Tequila and Grand Marnier Liqueur. I am surprised this "Jose Cuervo" margarita is actually really good. It's taste very fresh with hint of orange taste. I like my margarita on the rock. The price is reasonable.
I had two glasses 
Nothing beats a glass of chilled Margarita in the hot summer day after a long/hard day at work..... Maybe tomororw after work, I need to go get a margarita glass set.....
